“Protecting dogs from cancer begins with knowing its impact by breed, type, age, gender, and location.

The U.S. has lagged behind other countries where there are multiple canine health registries, and there have been several attempts by other groups to establish a U.S. registry without success. We have to do better for our dogs, and we believe Take C.H.A.R.G.E. finally will give us the tools we need to advance canine cancer care.”

— Dr. Terry Fossum, DVM, MS, PhD, Diplomate ACVS.

About the first U.S. Canine Cancer Registry and Cancer Care Index

  • We believe that your data is yours, not Ivee’s or anyone else. We only process your data according to your agreement(s).

We follow all GDPR and Recital 26 regulations. This, in summary, states that as long as the data is completely anonymous, it is no longer personally identifying. Thus, it no longer requires permission to be granted.

Think, for example, a list of “Top Watched Netflix Movies This Week” - these lists come from tracked user data on Netflix. But since it’s anonymized, it can be published for articles and insights.

For more information on Recital 26 and GDPR.

  • Any personally identifiable information will be held in strict confidentiality and will only be used for the purposes of this study. The results are reported in aggregate form only, and cannot be identified individually. Multiple measures have been taken to ensure anonymity is maintained.

  • None! Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

But that’s the beauty of the Ivee software is we have created extensive data models and extraction techniques that once you have to fill out the initial opt-in form and we finish the integration, we do all the work!

This means zero double entry for you or your staff. Zero extra inputs. Zero extra liftings.

We do it all via your medical records and any discovery we find, we give back to you!

According to the Gallup Take C.H.A.R.G.E. dog owner survey, more than 80 percent of respondents believe a registry is needed to help dogs with cancer.

Mission: Create the first-of-its-kind national Canine Cancer Registry and Cancer Care Index will provide the veterinary community with important incidence and prevalence data to guide canine cancer diagnosis and treatment decisions and ultimately support dog owners by improving canine cancer care and building a community of hope for all dog lovers. The data may also provide insights to help better understand cancer in humans.

Together the Registry and Index will provide the veterinary community with important information to guide canine cancer diagnosis and treatment decisions and support dog owners by improving canine cancer care.

Ivee Software intertwines with your everyday workflows and veterinary practice strategies, allowing you to make confident decisions.

Insights are extracted and unified data from your practice management system. Our technology offers laser-focused visuals for Improved Patient Care, Faster Diagnosis and Treatment, Better Population Health Management, and Increased Efficiency. Reducing the time and effort required to collect and transfer medical information.

  • Using our data analytics behind the scenes, you and your team will be able to quickly understand a patient's medical history reducing the time of patient intake.

  • The visualized aspect of these EMRs and analytics refers to the use of graphical representations and data visualizations to help veterinarians communicate with clients to help understand and interpret the data of their animals health.

For example, charts and graphs can be used to display changes in an animal's vital signs over time, or to compare the prevalence of certain medical conditions across different species or populations.

  • Some of the benefits of visualized animal EMRs and analytics include:

Improved patient care: By tracking an animal's medical history and using analytics to identify patterns and trends, veterinarians can provide more personalized and effective treatment.

Faster diagnosis and treatment: Electronic records can be accessed quickly and easily, allowing veterinarians to make faster and more informed decisions about diagnosis and treatment.

Better population health management: By analyzing data across populations, veterinarians can identify trends and patterns that may indicate an emerging health issue or outbreak.

Increased efficiency: Electronic records can be shared easily between different providers and organizations, reducing the time and effort required to collect and transfer medical information.

  • Ivee software is a 3rd party application. We are connected to most practice management systems via the Covetrus Connect Marketplace.

While a PMS may include some basic medical record-keeping capabilities, it may not have the same level of detail and functionality as an EMR system. Additionally, a PMS may not include data visualization tools to help interpret and present medical information.

Visualized EMRs can be considered an extension of a veterinary practice management system, but they focus specifically on the medical information of individual animals and often include more detailed record-keeping capabilities and data visualization tools.
